2026 Scholarship Winners
Throughout its 142-year history, the purpose of the Ladies’ Friday Musical Club has always been to support young musicians in their college and university music studies. Auditions are held every year and scholarship prizes are awarded. We are so grateful for the continuing support of our generous donors and their financial gifts to these promising young musicians.
Once again, we had an exceptional field of auditions. The judges were pleased to award scholarships to the following students:
Asher Koh, violin, won the Audrey Hammann Award for Musical Excellence. Asher is a student at the Eastman School of Music.
Ava Andrews, violin, won the Judy Goldman Award for Musical Excellence. Ava will be in graduate school at Boston University this fall.
Emily Schmidt, trumpet, won the Lily Kaufman Award for Musical Excellence. Emily is a student at Missouri State University.
